RULES
Exhibition matches are non-contest bouts where participants display Muay Thai techniques without seeking a decisive victory.
These matches include:
Scrimmages (simulated sparring sessions)
Technical sparring (controlled exchanges with limited power)
Developmental matches (matches focused on skill improvement)
No winners or losers are declared. Rankings are not recorded but match experience may be logged for future matchmaking.
Participants are classified into age divisions with corresponding weight classes. Adjustments may be made for fair and safe matchmaking.
Age Divisions:
Senior: 40+ years
Adult: 17-40 years
Youth (5-17 years)
Weight Classes: Weight classifications vary by age and gender to promote safety. Participants may compete outside their weight class within a reasonable range.
Matchmaking considers:
Age, weight, gender
Training background & experience level (e.g., Fresh, Trained, Instructor)
Affiliated gym/training center
Mixed-gender matches or extreme weight differences require special approval. Safety takes precedence over competitive matching.
Conducted within 72 hours of the event
Participants weigh in wearing light undergarments (no shoes or excessive clothing)
Weight cuts are discouraged for safety reasons
Participants must wear approved equipment:
✅ Headgear (open-face)
✅ Mouthguard (proper fit required)
✅ Cloth hand wraps (tape only on wrists)
✅ Groin guards (mandatory for males, optional for females)
✅ Shin guards & ankle supports
✅ Chest protectors (required for participants under 17)
✅ 16oz gloves (Adults & Seniors) / 10oz-16oz gloves (Youth based on weight)
✅ Muay Thai shorts (no pockets or long athletic shorts allowed)
Equipment with obscene or disrespectful imagery is prohibited.
Each match is overseen by:
Referee: Ensures fair play and safety
Match Evaluator: Assesses technique and skill level
Timekeeper: Regulates round durations and breaks
Officials may adjust rules mid-match to maintain safety and sportsmanship.
Strikes must be controlled; knockouts are not allowed
Illegal techniques include, but are not limited to: headbutts, direct strikes to the back/spine/groin, and grappling/wrestling/Judo maneuvers
Participants are evaluated on their offensive & defensive balance, composure, positioning, and technique
No winners or losers declared – matches focus on skill demonstration

Enjoy technical displays of Muay Thai skill
Understand that these are non-competitive exhibitions
Respect event staff and match officials
